Hey, I'm Aeron, and if you know me, you know I am a lover of people and their stories, God and his big redemptive story, and technology and its power to change our world's story. But, this site is mostly about me and my story.
After serving the US Marines as a Captain, I started a technology company in the legal marijuana industry. The company grew in value and prestige very quickly, and I was even named to Inc Magazine's 30 entrepreneurs under 30.
But, In 2016, I had a paradigm-shifting event that changed how I saw myself and the whole world, which led me to my work at BibleProject.
After an incredibly life-giving, challenging, growing, and exciting 5 years at BibleProject, I am moving on to my third venture, Pangea.

My Work
My work experience began in the military, first in traditional warfare, then in systems development and acquisitions. All of my time outside the military has been with startups, both for-profit and non-profit. My first job when I left the Marine Corps was as the CEO of my first company, and then I moved on to be one of the earliest employees at BibleProject. I am currently working on my next startup, HedgeDesk.

I served BibleProject in leadership capacities as the CMO and CTO during my tenure. Ultimately, I helped to drive growth. I was directly part of over 20X growth in 4 years making it the fastest growing and largest crowdfunded project in world history. It is now a premier Ed-Tech company serving people and churches around the world with top-notch Biblical content.

Test Management Officer
I served as the third-ranking officer at an amphibious vehicle testing facility responsible for working with the defense industry to test, modify, and field any naval or marine corps equipment (software, vehicles, weapons, equipment) that would operate on the open ocean and bridge to land.

Pangea is tackling a global FX Risk problem. We hope to open up the world economy for individuals and businesses of all sizes by helping to solve for global FX risk and forward market inaccessibility and volatility in emerging markets.

Founder
Tradiv was an online cannabis wholesale platform seeking to transform the marijuana market by offering a digital brokerage system that makes transactions more efficient, fair, and transparent. I was named to Inc Magazine's 30 entrepreneurs under 30 for founding Tradiv in 2016 and ironically left that same year.

11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU)
Special Staff Officer - Amphibious Ops
I served 3rd Batallion Landing Team, 1st Marine Regiment as their Amphibious Assault Vehicle Platoon Commander and Special Staff Officer to the MEU. I served as a key Operational Planner for Heavy Amphibious Raids and Surface Landings.

I prepared several platoons for deployments in both infantry and amphibious operations during the last years of Operation Enduring Freedom. Ultimately, we did not deploy, and I honed my skills as a platoon commander to prepare for the 13th MEU.
My LIFE
In 2016 I felt God call me away from my entrepreneurial ambitions with Tradiv to spend some much needed time learning who He is and who I was. It also gave me time to focus on BibleProject, where I look forward to serving in some capacity well into the future.
It did not kill my entrepreneurial spirit, though. I have been working on Pangea for several years and am launching the flagship product, Pangea Prime, in September 2022.
I reside in San Diego, CA, serve as a pastor and board member to our church, and enjoy my favorite "role," as a dad and husband.
